It's All About Telling a Story

I’m Jake Hyland, a Game Designer specializing in Sound Design. I graduated from Bradley University in 2021, am originally from Minnesota, and one of the things I like to do best is create stories.

Music is about communicating a feeling, sounds are about setting up an environment, and games are all about the fun times you can give players! From the table to the screen, games are always about the stories players can experience, and the ones they keep forever after.

I’ve Worked in multiple roles with talented teams of artists, producers, programmers, and animators to release projects in accordance with academic deadlines. My key strengths are adapting to fast-paced development environments and always keeping other disciplines in mind.
